Settlers Park

In the heart of Meridian, Settlers Park is located in the Boise and the Treasure Valley area, west of Idaho. The 57.7-acre land hosts open grass areas, a fishing pond,  three good pickleball courts, a playground, a baseball field, a splash pad, restrooms, picnic tables, and a big parking area. 

The large park offers a clean, safe, and relaxing environment to spend quality time with family. Settler's park tenders activity opportunities for people of all ages and types. The well-maintained walking pavements connect the entire park, all the way from the heart of it to the entrance gates covering a one-mile distance approximately. Adults can jog around and exercise while children love to ride bikes on the broad pavements.

Adventure Island

Adventure Island is a pirate-themed park accessible to people of all ages and abilities.  It is a tempting space for kids with slides, monkey bars, swing sets, and spring riders. The sound garden adjacent is installed with sound pads that allow kids and adults to try their hands at some musical instruments to have their own little concert. Also, there is a rock-climb area to promote exercise for kids in a controlled environment. 

Tennis and Pickleball courts

Settlers park consists of three tennis and pickleball courts which are bustling with teenagers every evening. There is a seating area in the center of the courts with shades for spectators to enjoy the game. 

Park Shelters For Booking

There are three park shelters, big enough to fit a family of 50-200 people. The shelters are available for rent at different prices depending on their size. You can find more about the pricing, timing, and facilities on the official website of the city of Meridian.

Splash Pad

The splash pad is the all-time favorite place of kids visiting Settlers Park. The sprays, mists, and water dumps are a perfect getaway for kids in the summers. It is a big area to accommodate kids at any time, making sure everyone gets a shower. The water is clean with an efficient drainage system.

Horseshoe Pit

The tournament-size horseshoe pit is a lovely sight for game lovers. Team up with friends and play the game of throwing targets at the opposite stakes.

Picnic Area

Picnic tables, shades, and charcoal grill make a complete setup for a weekend picnic. The place can be utilized to organize birthday parties and get-togethers with the facility of concession stands, bathrooms, and restrooms a few steps away.  

Baseball fields

Three softball fields are symbolized by giant baseball figures. Multiple games are played daily, attracting a huge number of spectators. 

Fishing Pond

The beautiful fishing pond is home to a lot of ducks in springtime. People have caught the biggest trout of their fishing career in this pond. Settlers park organizes an annual fishing game where they provide poles and other fishing equipment to kids and adults to fish for free.

Settlers park is one of the best places for recreational activities in Meridian. Refresh your mind with the therapeutic views of mountain peaks under the shade of a tree and the lake on the other side as the sun settles. Meanwhile, kids lose the track of time utilizing the grassy open fields to play frisbee, dodgeball, jump rope, kickball, etc.
